Black Ink Art

Black Ink Art is a full service art and design company founded by Philadelphia based mixed media artists Jon and David Swartz. Black Ink retails the Swartz Brothers artwork and the Black Ink clothing line and offers graphic design and illustration services.

Jon and David both graduated from Temple University's Tyler School of Art with degrees in graphic design. Soon after, they both also came to the realization that they would rather follow their passion to paint and work as freelance illustrators than pursue a traditional design career. They launched Black Ink in 2012, with the help of friend and business partner Justin Shupp, to do just that and now dedicate themselves to creating artwork full-time.
