Iain Macarthur

Very talented young illustrator from the UK.  His style could be described as surreal and unique in its own way. He create portraits using mostly pencil, watercolors and pigment pens  in a unusual way by embellishing patterns and watercolor effects into the portrait to give a vivid explosion effect. He makes the faces from something plain to something entirely bizarre and wonderful at the same time due to the stunning amount of details.

Illustrative Festival berlin

The 6th edition of Illustrative Festival takes place from the 31st of August until the 8th of September, 2013.  At Illustrative, numerous leading illustrators, graphic artists and collectives from all over the world will be shown in a central exhibition in the heart of Berlin. The range is from the established illustration art to the latest generation of young artist; from painting, drawing, installations, papercraft, book art and animation.

Modern house architecture

This modern house is located in Marlborough, New Zealand, and is designed by the successfully formed team of Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects and Paul Rolfe Architects. The two companies joined forces for this special project. It is designed as a guest house for visitors, who pass by the city. I like the open space that shapes the house and the surrounding with the incredible beauty of the New Zealand landscape.
